Purge pressurization purge equipment fault detection method


During normal use, problems with the equipment are mostly caused by the air source not being clean enough and the presence of moisture, dust and other substances 

blocking the air pipe of the equipment.


If the flow and pressure of the air source are insufficient, it will also cause the equipment to operate abnormally. Therefore, ensuring that the air source meets the standards is one of the effective ways to reduce the failure rate.




1. After the system is purged, perform the timed purge again.




Possible reason 1:


The equipment's compensation flow did not keep up with the leakage of the motor, causing the equipment to trip in a chain and re-purge.


Solution:


1) Look for obvious leak points in the motor, pay attention to cables, wire troughs, pipes, junction boxes, instrument panels, gland connectors, bolt holes, motor end covers,


      Check whether there is air leakage at locations such as the meniscus, whether the bolts are tightened, and whether the gasket is cracked.


2) Adjust the leakage compensation valve to increase the leakage compensation flow.




Possible reason 2:


The purge pressure of the equipment is too high, causing the pressure relief device (safety valve) of the pressure relief unit to activate, causing the internal pressure of 

the motor to be too low, causing the equipment to trip in a chain and purge again.


Solution:


1) Adjust the flow regulating valve to reduce the purge flow


2) Adjust the leakage compensation screw to reduce the compensation flow rate




Possible reason 3:


The signal pipeline is damaged and leaks, causing the equipment to misjudge the internal condition of the motor, causing the equipment to trip in a chain and have to be 

    purged again.


Solution:


1) Check whether the joints of the external signal pipeline of the equipment are loose. If possible, use bubble water to check whether there is air leakage in the pipeline.






2. The system is purged, but the red and green flipping balls do not flip.




Possible reason 1:


1. Zeng'an pre-purge system equipment (6pp, 4pp) will only move the red and green flipping ball after purging is completed.


Solution:


1) Normal performance of the equipment




Possible reason 2:


The air source pressure or flow is insufficient to meet the normal operation requirements of the equipment. Pay attention to whether the main air source pressure gauge is 

above 2.3bar (0.23Mpa) during purging.


Solution:


1) Increase the air source pressure and flow, and replace the smaller flow orifice plate


2) The filter is seriously clogged, affecting the ventilation and purging of the equipment.




Possible reason 3:


The motor leaks seriously and the purge air source flow cannot meet the needs of the motor.


Solution:


1) Look for obvious leak points in the motor, pay attention to cables, wire troughs, pipes, junction boxes, instrument panels, gland connectors, bolt holes,


      Check whether there is air leakage at the motor end cover, meniscus, etc., whether the bolts are tightened, and whether the sealing gasket is cracked.




Possible reason 4:


The signal pipeline is damaged, leaking, or clogged, causing the sensor to not operate properly.


Solution:


1) Check whether the joints of the external signal pipeline of the equipment are loose. If possible, use bubble water to check whether there is air leakage in the pipeline.


      Remove the signal pipeline from the outer ferrule of the equipment and check whether the pipeline is properly connected to the motor cavity.




Possible reason 5:


The D888 device may not be able to reach the minimum starting conditions due to the leakage compensation screw being adjusted too small.


Solution:


1) Adjust the leakage compensation screw to increase the air intake of the equipment






3. When the equipment is purged, the timer does not count (it does not turn yellow)




Possible reason 1:


The purge flow cannot meet the ventilation needs of the motor


Solution:


1) Look for obvious leakage points in the motor, pay attention to cables, wire troughs, pipes, junction boxes, instrument panels, gland connectors,


      Check whether there is air leakage in the bolt holes, motor end cover, meniscus, etc., whether the bolts are tightened, and whether the sealing gasket is cracked.


2) Adjust the flow regulating valve to increase the purge flow


3) Replace the smaller flow orifice plate


4) The fire-retardant net of the pressure relief unit accumulates dust, causing an increase in purge flow demand.


5) The filter is seriously clogged, affecting the purging of the equipment.




Possible reason 2:


Signal pipeline abnormality


Solution:


1) Check whether the joints of the external signal pipeline of the equipment are loose. If possible, use bubble water to check whether there is air leakage in the pipeline.


      Remove the signal pipeline from the outer ferrule of the equipment and check whether water has entered the pipeline.




Possible reason 3:


Battery power is too low


Solution:


1) Replace the battery
