Features
- Meets NFPA Class I Div.2 & ATEX Zone 2 standards
- Ventilation capacity up to 4,700 m3/hr
- Dual redundant fan option
- Roof, wall and in-line mounting options
Expo’s RP-Max-Z room pressurization systems are designed for type Z / Ex pz pressurization in accordance with NFPA496 and ATEX for Class I Div 2 and Zone 2 hazardous areas, making the interior of the room a general-purpose location.
Systems are self-contained units incorporating high flow fan units, filtration, pressure measurement and control.
Depending on the application, RP-Max-Z systems are available for single or two-door rooms, with one or two fans. Incoming air, from a non-hazardous location, is brought via ducting to the unit. Depending on local regulations or project specifications, the air inlet may be equipped with gas detection or a fire damper.
